As a tech executive for over two decades, Doug has led global businesses and built high-performing teams from product development to operations to sales and most functions in between. As a certified executive coach, Doug works with C-suite and senior-level leaders committed to developing and evolving to grow and adapt in new roles, new markets, and new businesses. Doug earned his coaching certification through the Hudson Institute and is an ICF-certified coach. His client list includes leaders at publicly traded companies like Microsoft, Snap, Google, and Meta as well as pre-IPO start-ups and private equity firms.
Before becoming an executive coach, Doug held senior roles at technology companies, from early-stage startups to leading a global business for Microsoft to one of the early senior hires at Facebook through building a new business from scratch for ServiceChannel. Doug holds a BA in English Lit from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. Doug has lived, toured, and worked in many countries around the world with his current home in Santa Cruz, California, where he lives with his wife, two daughters, and a pit-cattle-pointer dog named Lucky and enjoys reading, movies, and most outdoor activities; especially if they’re in, or near, an ocean.
