Letter From The Founders

Nick and I share a somewhat idealistic view of work. Of course, we know that work isn’t always perfect. The market is filled with plenty of challenging company cultures, tension-filled partnerships, and jobs that fail to inspire. However – when the puzzle pieces fit – work can become a platform for profound growth and a stage that allows groups of individuals to unite around accomplishing monumental things.

We have both been fortunate enough to have these kind of transcendent experiences at work. That’s largely because we worked for companies and managers that held us to high standards and, more importantly, invested in our ability to meet them. It was through these experiences that we got to witness how the right coaching and training can unlock the potential of individuals and organizations alike.

At Exec, we aspire to enable others like us to overcome obstacles and become their best selves. We aim to help companies clean up their messy people problems and achieve the visions that sparked their initial creation.

Sean was previously the VP of Product at Flexport where he helped the company grow from from 20 to 800 employees and $1M to $500M in revenue.

As someone who’s experienced the power of work to unlock human potential, Sean is passionate about helping individuals and organizations grow.

He holds a B.S. from University of California, Berkeley.

About Nick

Co-Founder and CCO

Nick has over a decade of experience serving in roles across the talent development industry. Previously, he led Product Marketing at Guild Education during the company’s largest growth phase.

Nick holds an MBA from Stanford GSB and has an audience of over 12,000 readers who subscribe to the Jungle Gym, his newsletter focused on professional development.
