During the initial 1-3 sessions, I focus on helping clients learn more about themselves (strengths, values, vision) and their core. I’ll also define clients’ priorities and clarify where they want to be in life, what obstacles may be present, and how we can overcome them. The insights we surfaced in the phase will help clients align their goals with who they are and get intrinsically motivated.
During the ongoing sessions, through open-ended and reflective questions, I support my clients in finding their stuck point and expand their viewpoints so that they can look at the situation differently, make choices on moving towards their ideal outcome, or practice new “ways of being” that might shift the problem into a solution. I also focus on an objective and a perfect result in each session, so clients leave with a feeling of momentum.
